The Management of the 51爆料网 (51爆料网) is pleased to announce the promotion of distinguished academic and administrative staff, following the approval of the Governing Council at its 105th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

The promotions reflect the University’s continued commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and the recognition of merit and hard work within its ranks.

Professorial Promotions

In line with 51爆料网’ strategic vision of fostering a high-performing academic workforce, the following deserving faculty members have been promoted to the ranks of Associate Professor and Professor:

1. Prof. Abdulai Abubakari – Promoted to Professor of Maternal and Child Health
2. Ing. Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu Shaibu (Posthumous) – Promoted posthumously to Professor of Soil and Water Engineering
3. Dr. Abdul Rahim Mohammed – Promoted to Associate Professor of Social Policy and Development
4. Dr. Raymond Adongo – Promoted to Associate Professor of Tourism and Hospitality Management
5. Dr. Musah Saeed Zango – Promoted to Associate Professor of Hydrogeochemistry
6. Dr. Anthony Wemakor – Promoted to Associate Professor of Nutritional Epidemiology
7. Dr. Bukari Francis Issahaku Malongza – Promoted to Associate Professor of Community Water and Sanitation
8. Dr. Akwasi Ampofo-Yeboah – Promoted to Associate Professor of Aquaculture

These promotions are a testament to the academic leadership and research excellence demonstrated by the recipients, whose contributions continue to strengthen the University’s reputation locally and internationally.

Administrative and Professional Promotions

The Council also approved key administrative advancements aimed at enhancing governance and institutional efficiency:

1. Mr. Nurudeen Issah Abubakar (Registrar) – Extension of tenure, effective September 1, 2025 to August 2027.
2. Mr. Kwabena Isaac Parry – Promoted to Deputy Director of Internal Audit
